Welcome to CSW – my personal diary, dedicated to documenting my adventures into the world of wine! 

A little background about me: my name is Abby and I am a marketing director, social media manager, and chihuahua mom by day, and a wine lover by night. developed this passion for wine in 2022 on what was supposed to be a fun, one-time trip with my mom to the Napa Valley. Being based in Southern California myself, this was a short drive to one of the most beautiful and delicious spots I’ve ever visited. Since then, we’ve been back two other times and thrown a few wine tastings across California into the mix. 

The more wine I taste, the more I have realized how refined my palette has gotten. I have an affinity for California Pinot Noirs and Sauvignon Blancs, as well as a few key standouts like Rutherford Pinot Blancs and Carneros Pinot Meunier. I have a deep love for sparkling wine and find myself consuming that on a more regular basis to some of the still wines. Temecula wines have caught my eye, as well, which I will be diving into more deeply with all of my future blogs and Instagram posts.  

Life lately has seemed so bogged down with work and stress and I decided that I needed to do more to follow this hobby & passion. Having a space to share all of my favorite wines with the world and get more recommendations as to what new ones to try is all I could have asked for!
